Overview
Patton Albertson & Miller opened its doors in April, 2003. They provided clients with comprehensive financial life management services from their offices in Chattanooga, Atlanta, and Macon, Georgia. Their mission was “to help families thrive through financial health,” no matter what financial issue they might face. Managing an investment portfolio or creating a long-term financial plan was just the beginning.
The firm had been successful at serving affluent individuals and families throughout the U.S. However, their business horizon was rapidly changing. With the advent of more and more brokerage companies, trust departments, and independent financial firms and advisors competing for market share, they needed a way to cut through the marketing clutter. It was time for them to create a unique voice and brand that somehow separated them from their growing number of competitors.
Following an initial capabilities presentation to their senior team, Patton Albertson & Miller signed on as a client and we began to develop a comprehensive marketing plan that would put them on the map.
Brand
It was time to build a brand. The company’s “comprehensive financial life plan” was our point of differentiation. From there, we put together a color palette, typefaces, a unique layout format, headlines and copy that would stop readers, and redesigned and launched a new website. We challenged our audience, invited them to see the difference between a firm that simply handles your investments and one that handles your entire financial life. The good news? It’s working.
