The One Story You Have to Tell

 Monty Wyne

You run a business or a company. What’s the one thing that will ultimately raise the awareness, visibility, and profitability of your company or business? Differentiate you from your competitors? And give your customers a reason to believe in the product or service you offer them? The answer?  Your brand story.

Everyone loves a good story. However, when it comes to brands, many of those stories go untold and the end result is your brand becomes invisible, faceless. You can’t afford to be faceless or invisible in a world where brands and marketing are proliferating at a rapid pace, and each is asking for attention. To thrive in this environment, you need a way to engage with customers, connect with them on a much deeper level. A brand story will provide that advantage.

Your brand story should be a closely-knit narrative that brings imagery, emotions, and facts together in a memorable and moving way that captures the attention of your audience. Think about a recent movie you may have seen or a book you read that you just couldn’t put down. There was a story there that involved you, that shared a genuine connection. A connection that transported you, prompting an emotional response. It’s in that moment a brand makes an indelible and lasting connection with its audience.

What makes a great brand story? One that talks about your brand’s history, the challenges it‘s faced, its successes, and the individuals who made it what it is today. After all, it’s your story. A story that’s unique. No one else can own it or tell it like you can. It is a very valuable property, that’s yours and yours alone. A story that belongs to you and your customers.

So, what kind of message or image do you want to convey? What is it you want your audience to remember about you? How should they value your brand? And what can you do to create an unusual and unforgettable brand experience?

All questions that need to be answered. We can help. Give John Wagoner a call or drop him an email. The end result will be one story your customers won’t want to miss!
