Meet Andrew Woods

 Monty Wyne

Andrew was born a creative person and performer.

Somewhere, buried deep in a box underneath guitar strings, 35mm film, show posters, card decks, spray cans, running shoes, and a story about Abraham Lincoln’s ghost...is a photograph of him performing in the Nutcracker.

Andrew has been everywhere and done everything (well, almost everything). A native Atlantan and an Ernest G. Welch School of Art & Design vagabond, he’s traversed the globe transforming the way that destinations like Seattle, Park City and the city of Atlanta market themselves.

He’s filmed country music stars in Nashville. Passed on his experiences at university and podcast speaking engagements. You might say he’s a true general jobber, bringing a kaleidoscopic array of skills from video to illustration to immersive technologies to copywriting.

His specialty lies in destination marketing where he’s spent years leading a creative team, building campaigns for the country’s best locales. He cooked up a unique digital flavor to help destinations and their travel and hospitality partners stand out and thrive (and lately, recover).

He’s also worked for some of the world’s biggest brands in the entertainment and automotive industry. Andrew likes to think of his clients as a part of his extended family, and believes the best work happens when a genuine human connection is established beyond the screen.

Nevertheless, Andrew doesn’t do any of this alone. He floats through life with the spirit of a supportive family and a small, incredibly close-knit group of friends he’s had since childhood.

“Moving to Chattanooga recently from the beach, where I spent five years, I’m super stoked to have a new family in Maycreate and the lovely residents of this big, small town,” says Andrew. It goes without saying, Maycreate is just as stoked to have him on board. By the way…If there’s ever a TV spinoff of Hoarders to deal with obsessive music collectors, someone needs to sign Andrew up. It’s getting serious.
