Originally from Jackson, MS, Lizzy’s path to becoming a graphic designer began early. She was encouraged by her father, a successful architect, and mother, an awarded creative director and very gifted graphic designer.
Her chosen career path? Advertising. The business offered her the opportunity to work with respected clients who offered a product or service that made life better. Plus, the challenge of reaching her audience in a creative and unexpected way. “That’s a fascinating place to be,” she says.
What inspires Lizzy? Art of all forms and the mysterious force that drives us to create. Pieces like “The Throne of the Third Heaven of the Nations”, a masterpiece created entirely in secret by James Hampton, a federal office janitor.
