He received his BA in Graphic Design from High Point University in North Carolina. He also discovered the importance of exceptional graphic design in his very first class. His professor asked the students to look outside, look all around them. ”Everything is graphic design, even the stop sign down the street,” he said. That was when Beau began looking at things differently.
Ingenuity is his strong suit. Beau’s always looking for a better, more efficient way to do things. In the world of advertising, marketing, and constant deadlines, that’s a valuable trait to have. Then he ponders the psychology behind branding. ‘What draws a customer to one product over another?” he asks himself. He’s sure of one thing. Doesn’t matter how good your product is, if it doesn’t have a personality and a purpose....you don’t have a brand.
