She comes from Memphis, the home of barbecue and the blues. Her father, a very successful photographer and videographer, was a big influence in her chosen career path. A journal from her best friend and a camera from her dad on her 15th birthday, and she was hooked. She would become a talented photojournalist and staff writer for her college student newspaper, as well as the winner of three Associated Press Awards, quite an achievement.
After college, she headed up the marketing departments for startups and non-profits, including Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Chattanooga. She was responsible for copywriting, photography, and content creation. Social media also played a big role in her list of responsibilities. Analyzing how data was performing. Pulling reports on various platforms. And excelling at developing communication strategies that resonated with target audiences. At the end of the day, she’s grateful for the work and the opportunity to collaborate with remarkable companies.
